Thank you for your question and for sharing your photograph. Among the changes that rhinoplasty can achieve, adjusting the position of the nasal tip and improving its stability when smiling are relatively common concerns and indications for the procedure. These adjustments are typically achieved through a combination of techniques. Reshaping the nasal tip cartilages plays a crucial role in defining the position and angle of the tip. Additionally, the use of grafts is often necessary to reinforce support structures and provide greater stability, ensuring the desired position is maintained during facial movements such as smiling. If you would like to discuss your specific goals or have further questions, a consultation would help to explore the options and tailor an approach suited to your needs.

Yes, it can... I'm not sure why you would think it would not? .
Thank you for your question. Your picture does not show a lot of detail, however rhinoplasty definitely can help with drooping tips-especially when smiling. I think it is one of the most beautifying surgeries that we do as plastic surgeons. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to rhinoplasty surgery. It is important to only see plastic surgeons with extensive experience in rhinoplasty, ie perform at least 6 per month and have performed hundreds of cases. Also, critically evaluate on-line galleries to see if their art form resonates with yours. Rhinoplasty is definitely a grey haired plastic surgeon's sport. Best wishes to you.
The most common conditions that we treat in our practice are a wide nasal appearance, a bulbous tip, a dorsal hump, and a droopy tip. I hope this helps, and I wish you well moving forward! Sincerely, Dr Joseph
Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. Cartilage grafts may also be used to help improve tip refinement. Your tip could also be elevated and supported at the same time. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Reish, M.D.Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
Much more information is needed, such as a full set of facial photographs from all angles that are in focus to make a determination about how best to proceed with a rhinoplasty procedure. To prevent the tip of the nose from drooping down dynamically when smiling requires releasing of the depressor septi ligament. If the nose is droopy, even without smiling, the nasal tip can be raised as well.
Hello, It appears that you have cephalically rotated and convex lower lateral cartilages. What that means is that the cartilages of your tip are round in shape and also pointed more upward. This results in the extra fullness you are seeing. This has to be treated in a very specific way to avoid...
Hello!Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos It is quite common for the nose to appear more asymmetrical due to facial asymmetry. With rhinoplasty, a more harmonious nose is possible, but the asymmetry is permanent. It would be better face to face consultation Best...
A rhinoplasty can be done to refine the tip and change the nasal columella angle, if needed. You may also benefit from a chin implant. I would need additional views to give you a more accurate answer. In terms of your lip, you would benefit from a lip lift. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens...
