Female, 30 - rhinoplasty or other procedure to balance face?

As far as I can see from your photos It is quite common for the nose to appear more asymmetrical due to facial asymmetry. With rhinoplasty, a more harmonious nose is possible, but the asymmetry is permanent.

Yes, your face is asymmetrical and your cheek is larger on one side than the other. You would benefit from fat transfers to the smaller cheek. You would also benefit from a rhinoplasty to correct the asymmetry of the nose.

In general, rhinoplasty surgery should be reserved for those people that have severe dissatisfaction with their nasal appearances. Since that does not be the case, and since you appear to have a pleasing nasal appearance, rhinoplasty might not lead to the balance that you are looking for. Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. Cartilage grafts may also be used to help improve tip refinement. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

A closed rhinoplasty approach can accomplish narrowing the bridge line, and refining the nasal tip, however, thick skin in the tip of the nose is going to prevent refinement in that area. And Alar plasty may be required to narrow wide nostrils. It would be helpful to post a full set of facial photographs from all angles to make a better determination. Digital computer imaging would also be helpful to understand what can be accomplished with your nose upon your facial features.
