I had a rhinoplasty 6 months ago. I have a SEG placed and dorsal hump removal. I am wondering if this is pinch tip or notching or from the removal of cartilage as my nose was very bulbous before. Looks like there’s a small indent on the top of my nose too on the left side.
Answer: Not Pinched Tip | Facial Plastic Surgery Expert | Revision Rhinoplasty Nosejob | Fix Nostrils Tip Asymmetry | Beverly Hills LA Hello and thank you for your question and pictures. It does not appear you have a pinched tip, and usually you wouldn't see notched nostrils this early post-op. Typically it takes up to 1-2 years for all the swelling to fully resolve, but if you are unhappy with the appearance of your nose, you would need a revision rhinoplasty to properly correct your issue and to solidly reinforce the entire underlying framework to assure you get the BEST long term results (to prevent distortion and retraction from scarring forces over time). Anyone who tells you otherwise is doing you a HUGE disservice! Revision rhinoplasty is truly a surgery of millimeters- they are the most technically challenging procedures in all of plastic surgery! Because your nose is the DEFINING feature of your face- I would only recommend seeing a surgeon who specializes in revision rhinoplasty procedures, and who has significant training and experience performing these surgeries. I actually trained under one of the world leading revision rhinoplasty experts (who performs 1,000+ nosejobs annually). If you are unhappy with the appearance of your nose, I recommend for you to setup a formal consultation with me (or another plastic surgeon who is extremely comfortable with revision rhinoplasties) to thoroughly discuss your surgical goals, undergo a formal examination, evaluate your options, and develop a personalized plan just for you. I hope this helps! Dr. Donald Groves Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos bumps that remain constant for more than 6 months may be permanent. First of all, it is important to request a detailed examination appointment from your surgeon for accurate information. Best Regards!

Answer: Permanent nonsurgical nose job may be considered for slight nostril asymmetry. Based on your limited photo, you appear to have a bit of excessive nostril show, more on your right and on your left. Depending on your examination, microdroplets Silikon 1000 injections may be considered for lowering your nostril margins, and for improving upon your nostril margin symmetry. I believe this would be a better option then considering revision rhinoplasty, since you overall have a placing nasal appearance. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

Answer: Rhinoplasty Overall I think your result is good. If you want you could try filler to deal with the small indent. I don’t think a surgical revision is needed
