Had my breast augmentation 4weeks ago, now my PS told me to still hold off the massage for my breast since this was my second augmentation (revision) due to complication (hematoma) the 1st time. I am so worried that my implants won't drop at all, and on top of that I am also scared to touch it too.

Answer: Trust your surgeon to guide you through the recovery process. Your surgeon should be equally motivated with you to have the best results possible. I'm a 'massager' but I have no proof that its necessary but it certainly makes sense and my results at least reinforce its effectiveness. Following your surgeon's advice allows you to let him/her recommend what needs to be done if you don't settle to your satisfaction.

Answer: Will the breast implants drop even without massaging it? Dear khamil,Your primary surgeon should be the one giving you advice because no online surgeon was there and knows exactly what was done at your surgery. You should certainly follow-up with your surgeon to discuss your concerns and see how they feel you are healing. Be sure you understand exactly why they are making their recommendations as well so that you can continue to use good judgement and continue to avoid complications. Can you believe I once had a patient get a hematoma 4 weeks and 3 days after surgery at the gym? I was shocked, but I know it can happen!Best of luck to you,
