Can cheek filler make eyes look closer together? Injector used Voluma to create width in my temples.

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  I do not personally think that your eyes are close-set, but filler placement placed laterally can cause the appearance of closer set eyes.  This would require abundant filler placement.  Filler along the eyes will not create the illusion of wider-set eyes.  I would recommend seeing an ASPS board certified plastic surgeon who can walk you through the possible benefits of dermal filler placement based on the goal appearance you are trying to achieve.  

Thank you for your question. Voluma fillers are intended to add volume to the cheeks and mid-face, which commonly becomes drawn as the human body ages and collagen production slows. While your eyes do not appear close-set, there is a certain amount of physical beauty that can be measured.  Large eyes, widely spaced apart has been proven to be a feature that comprises an attractive female face. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon.

Filler on either side of the nose wouldn't make the eyes look wider set. If you're unhappy with your final results with Voluma, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. See a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

situation. Voluma is a filler used to enhance the appearance of the face. If a large amount of filler is placed in the outer cheeks it can make the face appear wider and give the appearance that the eyes are closer together. It is difficult to make an assessment without before photographs. Hyaluronic acid fillers such as Voluma can be dissolved if the desired effect is not achieved. Based on your photos, I would not say that your eyes are close together. However, you do have prominent eyes. It is possible that some filler in the brow area could be the answer, but filler is an art form. And it requires an in person exam. So, schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss. 

The space between the eyes should be about "1 eye". It might be a bit small on you. I think that thinning the top of your nose would help the balance of the face. The temples are not hallowed. You do have a tear trough deformity that I would correct. You have a nice v shape to your face so I wouldn't change the cheeks either. Nose and tear trough would be the areas I would attend to. 

you have prominent eyes because the bone of the upper orbit sits farther back than it does in the average person. They are not particularly close together. The way I approach problems like this is with a little injectable saline and local anesthetic,.  By filling in areas temporaily... about 15",  you can try various treatments and  see what works the best. It's like trying on clothes before you buy them.My hunch is that you brows need to be filled. If you put some reflection of light from expanding the hollow of the eyes, it makes the eyes look farther apart.  You will need several cc of filler done 1 at a time on each eye.
