In general, the laxity that you are concerned about is addressed better with a vertical vector. This means that it is captured by a facelift intervention, and in particular, if the facelift procedure uses scars that extend in front of the temple hairline.

This allows for removal of skin that directly addresses the laxity under the chin in a more consistent and lasting manner than when it is tensed laterally with a more oblique vector.
