Looking to get Voluma for cheek enhancement. Consult showed flat cheeks, but I'm dieting to lose 10 lb. Will getting Voluma now be too soon or will 10 lb make much of a difference in the result? I want to go, but not sure if I should wait. Thanks!

Answer: Volume and weight loss Thank you for your question. I really don't think you will lose too much weight in your face as you now have a fairly long and thin face. You do, however, have flattening of the mid malar region whereby you will definately benefit from volume augmentation. Please make sure that you consult with a Plastic Surgeon whom specializes only in the face. All the best.

Answer: Cheek Augmentation with Fillers (Radiesse, Voluma, Bellafill), Sculptra, implants, fat after weight loss Your cheeks may look thinner if you lose weight, but it's difficult to determine how much it will be impacted. Cheeks can be improved with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
