If I get fillers underneath my eyes, will it affect my lazy eye and make it worse?

I have crepiness and deep tear troughs but the problem is mostly noticeable under my lazy eye only and the skin under the other eye seems fine. If I get fillers, can this make my lazy eye worse? Will it make my lazy eye turn in towards my nose more than usual?

Thank you for your question. I don't believe tear trough filler will affect you lazy eye. A lazy eye is nerve-related. Filler will only add volume to the area. Be sure to visit a skilled and qualified injector.

Filler into the tear trough will not have any effect on a lazy eye.  A lazy eye is due to issues related to the levator mechanism of the upper eyelids.  Filling the lower eyelid may help with the slight laxity of the skin of the lower eyelid however, you may want to ask about minimally invasive procedures such as microneedling, fractionated Erbium laser, or chemical peels to address skin rejuvenation in the thin lower eyelid skin

Thank you for your question. A lazy eye is something that is nerve-related, which injectable fillers will not affect. However, I recommend that you schedule a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in injectable fillers. They can examine you and offer options for the right filler, as well as any other treatment that can address your tear trough issues as well as possibly diminishing the look of your lazy eye. Undereye fillers will have no effect on your lazy eye. It will smoothen the appearance of the eyelid cheek junction, correct undereye volume loss, and improve dark circles.

Under eye fillers are injected below the eye socket and do not effect the the movement of the eyeball.

Fillers in the lower lid will not affect the way the eye turns or aligns. The muscles around the eye and the brain control all of that.
To some lazy eye means droopy upper lid. Fillers in the upper lid could affect appearance.

Thank you for your question. Dermal fillers can improve the volume loss under the eyes. Asymmetry is completely normal.  PRP with micro-needling, radio-frequency and laser treatments will help with the crepey skin and fine wrinkles.
