After losing weight and due to loss of volumes had fillers placed in my cheeks but they seemed to make my eye bags more prominent and a lot worse than they was before .. I then had tear trough filler but they now look worse than ever I seem to have a ridge under 1 eye more so than the other .. I feel like it’s been placed to low... amalian filler was used
Answer: Tear trough filler Thanks for your question and I am sorry to hear you did not have the result you were looking for. It does seem as though there was slightly too much filler used in the wrong plane hence the ridge under the eye. You should return to your practitioner to see what options are available. You should always seek a highly qualified and experienced practitioner to avoid future issues

Answer: Unhappy with Tear Trough Injections (Volbella, Restylane, Belotero)--reverse with hyaluronidase If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. A combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. I suggest consulting with an expert to develop a treatment plan best suited for your short and long term goals. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Tear trough fillers I would recommend to dissolve the filler if you have a ridge. The tear trough area should only be treated by an experienced doctor as incorrect placement can result in long term issues.

Answer: Possibly remove the filler. The tear trough area is one of the most unforgiving areas to treat with filler, as there is little fat covering the area. Lumps and bumps are best treated with Hyalase, with retreatment a couple of weeks later if needed. Commonly correcting the cheek volume loss leads to improvements without the need for tear trough filler, if combined with collagen boosting treatments like PDO threads under the eyes, or hydrating fillers. Some people have issues with the lymphatic drainage in this area so caution is needed with any treatment to ensure poor drainage is not made worse. My recommendation is to find a doctor you are confident with, and take it slowly so you can build up the trust for these more complex treatments. Kind regards
