However, neither of these procedures will yield substantial, lasting results if healthy habits aren’t practiced. Although you don't need to be actively losing weight to see results, you should be able to maintain your weight to get the most out of your treatment. No aesthetic procedure, whether it's CoolSculpting or something else, is a substitute for diet and exercise.

Yes, it's certainly possible to undergo a CoolSculpting treatment after having liposuction. Whether that's the appropriate approach in your case, however, would require an in-person examination. When patients undergo liposuction, fat cells that are removed (or, in your case, transferred) are gone for good. However, the remaining fat cells in the area can still expand. Cool Sculpting can be effective after liposuction but it all depends on individual. Cool Sculpting is highly effective for localized areas of excessive fat. There has to be a certain amount of pinchable fat for the applicator to be able to pull the fat into the treatment chamber. It would be best for you to see a Cool Sculpting expert and to have a consultation to determine if you are a candidate.

Yes, it is absolutely possible to get CoolSculpting after surgical liposuction. We commonly perform this in my office. I would recommend you seek a consultation with an office that is very experienced with CoolSculpting after liposuction, as there is sometimes asymmetry and other irregularities that needs to be addressed. 

It is safe and can be effective to have CoolSculpting done after liposuction. As long as there is "pinchable" subcutaneous fat in the areas of concern, that the CoolSculpting modules can be applied to, there will be additional reduction of the local fat pockets. However, neither CoolSculpting nor liposuction is a substitute for healthy eating and a good exercise regimen, and neither will reduce a person's intraabdominal fat.
