Dr. Dover is the BEST !! I have been going to him for many years. He is one of THE TOP doctors in his field. I always feel 100% confident of his skills .I am almost 56 years old and I feel like I have never looked better in my life . He Also has a great personality and is very charming. I have seen some women who have had fillers and injections from other doctors and honestly , some look so unnatural and overdone. Dr Dover is up on the latest techniques and has years of experience. He is masterful ! He has also always given me great advice on what treatment would best suit me . Aside from that, he was the only Doctor that properly diagnosed a skin condition that I have dealt with from time to time for years. Skin Care Physicians is not cheap; however, I feel you get what you pay for. I would be much too apprehensive to go somewhere else just because it was less expensive. Dr. Dover surrounds himself with only the best doctors in his practice. His staff is incredibly professional and they are all absolutely wonderful. I am moving out west soon. The ONLY thing that am worried about is leaving him !!!! The topic “treatment “ only allows for one treatment, therefore I put “Botox “. I highly regard Dr Dover for many treatments that he offers at his practice.
Best. Caring and skilled. Listened carefully and advised me properly. Had several things done at this office and I will continue to see him. Also, laser hair removal staff is top notch. Had several hair removal treatments there and they are by far the best with great results.
I had the cool sculpting on my 'double chin' and had excellent results. There is a noticeable difference and I could not be happier with the results. The doctor made concrete suggestions and his office staff is very knowledgable and professional.
The product is wonderful (as long as it is injected by a highly skilled practitioner). The results are, in the right hands, both safe and beautiful. Dr. Dover provided me with perfect, natural results without any pain. (I did avoid NSAIDs and any other blood thinners before the appointment, which may have helped me in this regard.)
I've had restylane injected into my nasiolabial folds for the last three years and lips, more recently, and have been really happy with the results. Recently, I went for a consultation and the derm team suggested putting some in my inner check area. I *love* the subtle plumping which has taken years off my face. One person I work with said that she was just thinking that I look so young for my years "like a teen"-- I'm nearly 40. I've noticed that the filler in my nasiolabial folds lasts longer than in my lips. Since I just had the filler put in my cheeks it will be interesting to see how long it lasts there.
I thermage because my belly skin sagged after having a baby. The doctor was convinced someone like me (little body fat and fit - I exercise daily and compete in sprint triathlons) would be the perfect candidate. After paying the high price I spent one hour in the procedure room. The doctor, who was excited when I came for the initial consultation (which, by the way is $175 and not included!), but was dismissive and abrupt when I came in for the procedure. It's was clear at this point he had the sale, he was handing me off to the technician (the doctor's do not perform the procedure) and was done with me. He never followed up with me. After 6 months there was no change. I went in for the follow up and he tried to get me to do more procedures and another round of Thermage. I had just paid $4700 total for nothing, why would I pay more??? Look, if you want to lose the saggy skin, surgery is the only way to go. Not exercise (which can improve, but not fix the skin) or get fit quick schemes. I will not have surgery as I have had issues with anesthesia in the past (pretty violent reactions). This stuff doesn't work or the we wouldn't be on the net arguing the finer points.
Fraxel ablative laser skin resurfacing surgery with combination with electrocautery performed on May 22nd 2014 by Dr. Jeffrey Dover with Skin Care Physicians in Chestnut Hill, Greater Boston, MA area. I will write a review in 4 months -6 months post surgery. I am almost two months post surgery and I am not willing to make a final call whether it was worth it or not, I want to see the 6 moth progress first. Updated on 16 Jul 2014: Updated on 5 Dec 2014: Some bumps are still there but seem to be getting smaller. Areas are completely healed with bearly visible white scarrs. Will wait another couple of months for a complete review. Updated on 5 Dec 2014: Some bumps are still there but seem to be getting smaller. CoolSculpting is an ideal procedure for individuals with small amounts of excess fat on the love handles or the belly. It is not a great treatment for women or men who are significantly overweight and who have very large love handles or a big full belly. Individuals who are relatively trim who have localized area of fat achieve the best results. We almost never see rippling or a line of demarcation between the treated and untreated areas. Long term significant side effects are rare. It sounds like you're an ideal candidate and should do beautifully with one application on each love handle and 2 to 4 applications on your belly. Of course without having examined you and “pinched” your fat it's hard to know for sure but I suspect you will do beautifully with the treatment.
CoolSculpting is a very well-tolerated procedure. There is a tiny bit of discomfort but most individuals do not describe it as painful. With the new CoolAdvantage applicators it's even less uncomfortable than the it was with the original standard handpieces. A bit of numbness and tingling for 4 weeks after the procedure is common. Permanent nerve damage has not been reported. Bruising with the original handpieces was uncommon. With the new CoolAdvantage applicators the risk of bruising is even less than it was before. All in all CoolSculpting is a very well-tolerated procedure which yields excellent results in most individuals.
There's nothing special that need to be done after your Cool Sculpting procedure. A little bit of puffiness or soreness after the treatment this is completely normal. The achiness will go away over 1 to 4 weeks. This is probably related to bit of inflammation in the fat which is then expected from the treatment.
The new CoolAdvantage handpieces have revolutionized Cool Sculpting. Instead of it taking an hour to perform each treatment, the new applicators are applied for only 35 minutes. The CoolAdvantage handpieces are slightly bigger than the original handpieces and they produce even better results and with even less discomfort. Cool Sculpting was never very painful but with the new CoolAdvantage applicators it is even better tolerated.
With the recent development of the cool mini applicator, Cool Sculpting is now effective and treating submental fat, sometimes known as a double chin. It is quite effective at reducing the fat and tightening the skin under the chin and jawline that it may help better define your neck. It would be best for you to have your neck and jawline assessed by a Cool Sculpting expert to determine if you are a good candidate for the procedure.
