How soon after a BBL can I get a TT?

It all depends on your recovery rate. If you’re recovering well then you may be able to get a tummy tuck sooner. However, it’s important to know that surgery is a traumatic experience for your body and you should be adequately recovered before having another surgery done to reduce the risk of complications.

Everyone heals differently, in general, 3-6 months may be ok provided your abdomen has recovered from any liposuction. Also be mindful of the healing time required after a tummy tuck including no heavy lifting, etc.An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon is recommended to discuss your options and expectations.

Mommyof4k.    It is quite common to have Tummytuck after BBL, especially if you have had kids, because after fat harvesting from the abdomen and flanks for the BBL, skin can sag. Assuming that is your situation, I usually prefer to wait 6 months or longer to allow all swelling and scarring to settle down before having  Tummytuck surgery. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!

This really just depends upon the healing process.  3 months is enough time in some patients and 6 months is not enough time in other patients.

Thank you for your question.  During a BBL, large volume liposuction is performed, typically of the entire abdomen, waist, and back, so after a BBL these areas will need to heal along with your buttocks.  I assume these are the main areas you had suctioned.  Every patient is different, and I think most doctors will tell you to wait between 3-6 months.  Considering I perform liposuction of the abdomen, waist, and back at the same time on almost every tummy tuck that I do, waiting 3 months and proceeding with your tummy tuck will probably be fine.  However, this decision can only be made by a board certified Plastic Surgeon after an in-person examination.  Best of luck!

Ideally you want all the swelling to subside.  Most surgeons would wait about 4-6 months. You would have to be evaluated in person. Good luck.

I think 3 months is reasonable if you are healing well. You can't have any open spots or wounds. That would be a problem.

If you have healed uneventfully, then I believe it is ok to proceed with the proceed.

This is a more solid recommendation if you don't smoke or have problems like diabetes, hypertension, obesity, or other complicating medical issues.
