My life has been changed forever! My confidence is through the roof! This tummy tuck was just the start of my fitness journey and now I have my blank canvas to begin! I’m so incredibly honored to have had my surgery done by such an awesome doctor. Dr. Petrungaro I can’t thank you enough, I will be forever be grateful for the incredible life changing experience in which you provided me with.
Dr. Jason Petrungaro is a phenomenal surgeon! I had a great experience and have great results to show for it. I am super pleased with the care I received throughout the whole process and I couldn’t recommend a better doctor. I am feeling so happy and confident and thankful I chose him as my surgeon. His wife, Amy, and the rest of his staff also went above and beyond for me and answered all my questions along the way. Look no further!
After extensive research, I chose Dr Petrungaro to perform my tummy tuck and lipo. My results are even better than I imagined! I feel like a whole new person! I’m so appreciative of him and his staff.
I had lipo 360 and a tummy tuck with Dr. Petrungaro on May 26th and I am already pleased with the results. I was on the fence about getting the procedure because friends and family said that I didn't need it. But I knew what I wanted to look like and after 2 pregnancies in my 30's I wasn't getting the results from diet and exercise. So I searched and found Dr. Petrungaro and that was the only consultation I went to - I knew this was my guy. He spent as much time as I needed to answer all of my questions. There was no rush and no pressure. I didn't realize that my pubic area was hanging low or that my flanks would look better after lipo. He looked at me and knew exactly what needed to be done to make me look my very best. He is very confident in his abilities and his work backs it up. He put me at ease that the scar would be placed in an inconspicuous place which it is. The scar so far is healing beautifully. I had one drain out at 1 week and the second at 2 weeks. I can pretty much stand up fully straight. I only took the prescription pain meds for 2 days and then I was able to manage with just Tylenol. The pain was much more tolerable than I thought. There is just a lot of soreness and numbness mainly from the lipo. The first week I was scared to stand up straight because I felt like I was gonna split something but all was well. I am still swollen and have a few lumps and bumps but I massage in the shower or with coconut oil every day to try and break them up. But even with the swelling the results are just what I wanted! Updated on 26 Jun 2021: It is truly amazing to watch my body heal itself. Swelling is getting much better now.. my ankles are back to normal and the contour is really taking shape. The front is still a little swollen around the belly button and above the scar line. I still have some slight soreness mainly on my lower back and flanks but otherwise feeling almost normal. Updated on 9 Jul 2021: I was so nervous about the scar! For the first few weeks there was tape over the scar. I finally got to see it and it looks so good! There really isn't any discoloration and it's a very thin line. It will only get better from here. I was considering a tattoo over the scar later but I really don't think I'll need it.
I’m not lying when I say I can’t stop checking myself out in the mirror! After having lost 150 pounds, I was left with a shell of skin that just didn’t feel like myself. Dr. P did an amazing job in giving me my confidence back. I worked so hard to lose the weight and just needed his help revealing everything! I’m 3 months out and so happy with the results that I plan on going back for another surgery. Also, the staff is amazing. I never had to wait a long time for questions to be answered and they were so kind to me from the beginning to end. Cannot recommend enough!
Choosing Dr. Petrungaro for my breast list and tummy tuck was the best decision EVER! I am super happy with my results, and the entire experience was amazing. He and his staff are highly professional and truly care about you. I could not have chosen a better surgeon!
I've struggled with a double chin since I had my first child in 2012. I am 5'5 and usually bounce between 140-150lbs. Even before my wedding, when I managed to lose about 20 lbs and was down to 130, it was still there. I hate even looking at most of my candid wedding photos because of it. My neck/chin makes me look significantly heavier which is upsetting because I am within normal BMI. After years of debating it and looking into alternatives like Kybella, I decided to bite the bullet and do the lipo. I am so excited to finally have a defined jaw/chin and have my confidence back. Updated on 18 Jun 2020: Sorry for the marker and gross hair, but this is the day after my procedure and I hadn’t been able to shower yet. This looks AMAZING. Everything I’ve ever dreamed of and more, even with some swelling. Hoping the results stick! So far very minimal bruising and very little pain. Updated on 18 Jun 2020: Updated on 2 Jul 2020: Now two weeks post op. Not much to report in the way it looked between day one and now, but I did include a picture at the one week mark. Bruising got a bit worse during the first week down my neck and even a little on my jowls, but nothing that couldn’t be covered with makeup. Swelling fluctuated day by day, so some days looked better than others, but I just wore my compression and that definitely helped. The biggest part of the healing process happening now is just lumps/bumps. They aren’t noticeable to others, but I can definitely feel them. Doctor said it’s totally normal at this stage and they can persist for another month or two. I’ll massage them a few times a day to see if it helps speed things along. Incisions are SO small and totally coverable with makeup just like a break out. Overall, I’m absolutely thrilled. I’ve regained a lot of my confidence and I’m totally happy I did this.
After looking for years and having multiple consultants with many plastic surgeons. I found Dr Petrungaro it was the best decision ever. I had a tummy tuck and lipo 360, after having 3 babies via c-section. I love my results. My belly button has no scaring. And my incision is barely noticeable. Dr Petrungaro is very upfront and honest, his nurse is the best, and was there for me through the entire process. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing plastic surgeon.
I'm so happy I decided to finally go through my breast augmentation surgery with Dr. Petrungaro! Him and his wife Amy answered all my questions and concerns before and after surgery. It's been 3 months and I am loving my results! I would definitely recommend Dr. Petrungaro to anyone, he does great work, takes his time, asks questions and makes sure that you are getting exactly what you want. Thank you!!!
My experience was everything that I was looking for when I made the decision to go forward with breast augmentation. Dr.Petrungaro and his wife Amy made me feel comfortable and make the best decision for the best possible outcome. I couldn't be happier with my results.
3 months postoperative is actually a decent amount of time for healing to have occurred after surgery -- in fact I take all of my postoperative photos at 3 months, so you are justified in your concerns. It is hard to say for certain if your belly button is "good or bad" without seeing your preoperative belly button; however, I do see your observation of the heart shape. Overall your result looks quite good. If you were my patient and you were unhappy with the belly button I would tell you to let it settle for at least another 3 months. Scars will fade and shrink over time, and the shape may improve in your opinion. If it does not get any better, then yes, you can discuss a small revision with your surgeon to see if he/she can round out the top and especially bottom.
Yes, there is a procedure to transfer fat into the buttocks. It is called a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) and it traditionally uses fat from liposuction of the abdomen, waist, flanks, and back. Breast liposuction is not really very common. Costs can vary DRAMATICALLY throughout the nation. You might be able to get a BBL for $3500 in Miami but it might cost you $12,000+ in New York. Be sure to find a board certified Plastic Surgeon with experience with this surgery. It can be dangerous if performed by an inadequately trained surgeon (or worse, someone that isn't a trained Plastic Surgeon at all). You will need to avoid sitting on your buttocks for prolonged periods of time for up to 1 full month while the fat heals into place.
Excellent question! Fat deposits in this area are VERY common. It is an important area to address because if you don't, it will "stick out like a sore thumb" after a liposuction or tummy tuck/liposuction procedure. The best way to treat these fat deposits is with straight-up liposuction. Be sure to find a board certified Plastic Surgeon you can trust for your procedure!
I send every patient for preoperative labs, regardless of age. These include a blood count (CBC), electrolytes (BMP), and blood clotting tests (PT/PTT/INR). If a patient has any health problems, I may check other labs such as hemoglobin A1C in a diabetic. I will also check nutrition labs (albumin, prealbumin, protein) on surgical weight loss patients. All patients over the age of 50 get a chest X-ray and EKG in addition to labs. Most basic labs and tests are usually covered by a patient's health insurance. If you must pay out of pocket, my advice is to call a few labs and ask them their pricing and choose the most reasonable location for your blood draw.
In short, yes, it would appear to me that 600mL high profile implants would be way too large for you. Nothing takes the place of an in-person examination; however, you appear small with narrow shoulders in your photos. I am not sure a 600mL implant will fit into your breasts (it will probably be way too wide, even in high profile form). Your breasts are also quite small and would have a hard time "accepting" such a large implant. One thing is certain, if you choose 600mL implants, you will look VERY augmented (which is perfectly fine if that is the look your want). If you want to look very natural, then that size will be too large. In terms of saline versus silicone, that is ultimately your decision. Silicone is much more prevalent because it feels and looks much more natural. I would make sure you speak with your surgeon to be sure 600mL is the right choice for you. Be sure and try on multiple sizers in the office and look in the mirror. It also helps if the surgeon has 3D imaging (I use Crisalix in my office and the patients absolutely love it).
