I had a gynocmastia surgery a few years ago and was left with severe crater deformity. A top regional doctor I recently consulted with gave me an estimate of $9,300 (excludes lab tests) to take out the surroundings fat and placing some behind the nipple to reduce the crater deformity. I realize that there are many variables that influence the cost; however, at first glance does $9,300 seem way too overpriced. Including the lab tests that are required my total cost would easily be $10,000+.

Answer: Gynecomastia Revision chase0000. Difficult to answer without photographs, however revision surgery can be expensive because various techniques must be utilized to achieve optimal results. In your case, contour liposuction and fat grafting appear to be the best option. If this includes anesthesia and operating room costs, and your deformity is significant, then these fees are not excessive, especially when performed by a highly experienced board certified plastic surgeon. Talk to your surgeon about possible options to reduce the fee or other possibilities. Good luck
