Is this mild gynecomastia? (photos)

Question

I do have little muscle in my chest and as you can see, some fat in the join with the shoulder but clearly my chest is rounded and fallen. I weight around 150 (68kg) and I'm 5'9 (180cm). Aside from my chest I don't have much fat in my body. My nipples are normal in size and shape and aren't pointy but they're always soft till the point you can't feel them, except when I'm cold. I always thought I had a weak chest which is true but today I read about this condition and I probably have it.

It is very common for men to want a chest/breast reduction and ask about their recovery and when they can start exercising after surgery. You do have some other stuff going on so I strongly feel that it's very important to have an honest conversation with your surgeon about your particular situation, lifestyle, work environment and specifically which procedures you're having done so that you both have the most honest answer about your recovery and are realistic with expectations and results.I would recommend that you see a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area that is a member of both ASPS & ASAPS and performs a lot of short scar chest/breast reductions in men. Some of your photos seem to suggest that you might have a developmental abnormality in your entire chest. One breast looks higher than the other. Also your chest bone looks like Pectus Excavatum. You might have a little gyno as well. You should go get a good consultation and might need a work up of your chest.

suntoucher. It appears from your photographs that you do have mild gynecomastia. The good news is that treatment can be accomplished with liposuction alone. Seek the advice of a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to explore all options. Good luck.
