The tingling you are experiencing may be part of normal healing, but it is best to follow up with your injector to be sure.  It can take up to two weeks for swelling and bruising to resolve after lip injections.  Some patients find using Arnica and Bromelain supplements to be helpful.

Thank you for your question and photographs.  It is not normal to have tingling and burning one week following injections to the lips.  Bruising and swelling take approximately 7-10 days to resolve.  My advice is to follow up with your injector for an evaluation.  Best of luck.

Hello and thank you for the question. Tingling sensations are not typical post injection. However, this may just be part of wound healing. Follow-up with your aesthetic practitioner for further evaluation.

Tingling may or may not be normal.  It could be due to swelling. It could also be a precursor to a cold sore. Best to be seen by your injector in person.

I am concerned by the  timing and your description, that what you actually have is an outbreak of cold sore caused by herpes Symplex virus.  This is not rare  to occur one week after injection by filler in the lips. Ask your provider of the filler if you can have a prescription for Valtrex. 

Most likely you have nothing to worry about as this is the process of healing, especially after you've had some bruising. Good luck from New York City
