Effects of ibuprofen after filler treatment?

Thank you for your question, Davidiosa! Ibuprofen can thin the blood, resulting in bruising. It does not have any affect on the filler results, just your healing process. Try to stick to Tylenol after your next treatment.

The main reason we advise patients not to take ibuprofen is to prevent bruising. This will not effect the overall outcome of your filler treatment.

Thank you for your question.  I advise my patients to avoid Asprin and Ibuprophen products before and after injections in order to reduce the risk of bruising.  Taking Ibuprophen following your treatment will not affect your result.  Best of luck.
