Swelling is common after filler injections and can take up to 2 weeks to resolve. I would give this some more time. Massage may help. If after 2 weeks things have not improved then I would recommend having the filler dissolved with Hyaluronidase. You can then start over with a more experienced physician injector. Hello!  Thank you for your question!  Swelling is typical after any injection or filler. Typically, this settles after several days. It is common for the filler to settle over time and gentle massage of the area often improves contour and smoothness over the next few weeks. Fillers usually last for about a year or so. There are some agents that can break down the filler relatively quickly, if desired  I would follow-up with our injector and discuss your concerns. If the appearance at this time is so disconcerting and time and massage has not improved the result, consideration for the agent to break down the filler is reasonable. Best wishes!

It's not uncommon to have residual swelling after having dermal filler injections.  Since it's only been 6 days, I suggest waiting a full two weeks and then contacting your injector if the lumpiness has not resolved.  If needed, he or she can dissolve the filler or reinject for a more symmetrical appearance.

Thank you for your question and photographs and so sorry that you are disappointed with your result.  Most swelling and bruising resolves within 7-10 days following treatment.  My advice is to follow-up with your injector for an evaluation.  He/she may be able to dissolve any lumps with hyaluronidase injections.  Good luck.
