Hi. Thank you for your question. Filler under eye commonly last 1-2 years. If you are not happy with the result, hyaluronidase injection can dissolve the unwanted filler immediately.
Hi there! Thank you for your question. It can take 9-12 months for Juvederm to wear off on its own. If you have just had treatment you should allow 2 weeks for the filler to settle and for any swelling and bruising to subside. If, after this time you still aren’t satisfied with results you should visit your practitioner for a review. You can discuss dissolving the filler using hyaluronidase.Hope this helps,Dr Rupert
Hi,Thank you for your question.Yes, you can dissolve Juvederm with hyaluronidase if you've had an undesirable cosmetic outcome.Depending on which type of Juvederm (vollure, voluma, ultra, etc.) and depending on how much product was used, it may require multiple sessions to fully dissolve the product. You can certainly wait and allow time to naturally metabolize the product, but again, depending on the type of product and injection technique, improperly placed filler can last for years.Hope this helps!
Hello and thank you for your question. Juvederm usually lasts about 6-8 months, however I find that when injected in the tear trough area it tends to last longer. If you are unsatisfied, there is an option to dissolve the filler with and enzyme called hyaluronidase. It is best to return to your injector and have him/her dissolve it for you since they will know exactly what areas where injected. Best of luck.
I'm sorry you are unhappy. Juvederm placed in that area typically lasts 9 months, but can last up to one year or more. If you wish you can return to your injector to have the product dissolved with hyaluronidase. Please note that it sometimes takes more than one treatment to fully dissolve the product.

Thank you for your question. Juvederm is a dissolvable product. My advice is to return to your injector for a follow up and possible hyaluronidase injections to the area. Best of luck.
Hyaluronidase treatment (the antidote to hyaluronic acid gel injections gone wrong) will dissolve Juvederm within minutes of treatment. Without hyaluronidase treatment (to dissolve the Juvederm), hyaluronic acid / Juvederm can reside for many months in (and underneath) the skin before the body digests and breaks down the injected product. Juvederm and other injected hyaluronic acid gels break down faster in areas with more movement (around the mouth) and depending on the type of filler (some gels are more dense and cross-linked, thus lasting longer). Good luck! Best, Dr. Krathen
Thankyou for your question. If you are not happy with the filler result go back to your injector as this can be dissolved immediately. Filler like juvederm around the eyes can last years. I am sure your injector would like to know how you are feeling.Good luck
Hello Sunrise1969,I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with your results. Your filler can be dissolved by your provider with hyaluronidase and the results are immediate.Best to you,
Hello and thank you for the question. It's not uncommon to have residual swelling after having dermal filler injections. Since it's only been 6 days, I suggest waiting a full two weeks and then contacting your injector if the lumpiness has not resolved. If needed, he or she can dissolve the f...
Thank you for your question. Filler should always be injected slowly and using a retrograde technique to reduce the risk of product entering a blood vessel. Complications would be evident immediately and are quite rare. My advice is to seek treatment with an experienced injector who un...
Bruising is a risk with any injectable product. My advice is to avoid Asprin and Ibuprophen products prior to your next injection and consider taking Arnica (a homeopathic medication sold over the counter) that may help reduce bruising and swelling.
