Thank you for question and photos. The depression illustrated represents a natural zone of adhesion. Careful liposuction above and below the zone of adhesion will help minimize its appearance. Fat grafting directly to the depression can also help. Please consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in body contouring surgery. Ask to see a lot of before and after pictures of their work. Hope this helps.
Thank you for your question. Since you expressed that you do not want to get rid of your saddle bags, and instead it is the indentation above the saddle bag and below your waist is your primary concern, I believe that a fat transfer to this depression might be your best bet. A fat transfer would require that your board-certified plastic surgeon harvest some fat via liposuction from somewhere in the body, purify it, and then reintroduce this fat to the area of need via injection. I would recommend consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in liposuction and fat transfer procedures. A physical exam would be necessary to determine whether or not you are a good candidate for this procedure. Best of luck!
I suggest you see a body sculpting expert who does VASER 4D Hi DEF contouring to harvest fat, sculpt your body and use fat to improve the indentation/disproportion. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thanks for sharing your question. I canappreciate your concern. The indentation that you mention is related to the ligaments or attachments of the skin to the deeper bony area. The solution is a combination of mild refinement up and down (considering that you like this feature), in addition to fat grafting to fill in the indented space. Finally, make sure that you have aconsultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.Wishing you the best in your journey
Because you be described that you're okay with your saddlebags I recommend fat grafting to the hips to eliminate the indentation. You will be able to preserve your curves.
Dear Alena,Areas of natural fullness are typically due to subcutaneous fat, like in your illustration. Areas of depression can be due it underlying zones of natural tissue adhesions and areas that are naturally deficient of fat. There are other reasons, such as after trauma or surgery that can also result in an area of depression. Fat transfer to an area of depression can be a way of treating depressions that you don't like.
That area of hip indentation can be best treated by fat injections. The objective would be to unify the saddle bag and upper outer thighs into a combined outward curve.
There's a thin spot between the lower hips and the beginning of the outer thighs. And some people this area is more prominent than others. It's an area that can if great care is not taken beer accidentally liposuctioned when treating outer thighs. It's usually just outside the point of movement of the hip joint.Fat transfer is one option. The biggest limitation to grafting fat in this area is the amount of fat that can be placed during any single session.Any attempt at overdrafting will lead to a higher percentage of graft failure.Careful liposuction I'll be there side may also be an option.Sometimes a combination of both.Without question you need an examination to carefully identify the area of concern and discuss various treatment options.Best,Mats Hagstrom M.D.
Dear Alena A.,Thank you for your story, questions and photos. Unfortunately without a personal examI can give only general advice. However I hope you find it helpful.my responses:1) we are born who a limited number of fat cells. They do not increase in number.2) the fat cells get larger as we gain weight and conversely shrink when we loose weight.3) thus if you have liposuction the weight gain will occur in areas that have the most fat cells4)there are certain areas in each inviduals body that the fat cells are more "diet resistant"and these areas are ideal for liposuction.5)fat when properly harvested, purified and injected can add permanent contour restoration to the areas injected. Recommendation:1) combination of precise liposculpture2) select lipoinjection 3) make several appointments with experienced Plastic Surgeon who is Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (denoting by membership as having met additional criteria and a focus on Cosmetic Plastic Surgery). My best wishes,R. Thank you for question. You are still relatively early in the recovery process. There appears to be a combination of loose skin and some residual swelling. This is common following abdominal liposuction and will continue to improve over the next several months. Please have close follow up with...
After Liposuction surgery, 3-9 months you still see progress in the performance of the surgery. After 1 month yiu will still have swellings and it is still early to say something about the final result. You should follow up the progress with your surgeon.
At three months there still is some swelling and there can be contour irregularities. This convalescence will be extended if the liposuction was assisted by a laser or ultrasound.
