I noticed that my left implant looks more deflated and less round than my right one, but if I push it up, it will then form a more circular shape. Is my left implant ruptured? I may see my surgeon again, but to be honest, I don’t really want to see him again because maybe he didn’t do a good job in the first place?
Answer: Lateral Displacement / The Original Internal Bra Good morning, You do have some lateral displacement, caused by overdissection of your pocket, not an implant rupture. I correct this with the Original Internal Bra, my strong permanent internal suturing technique, which will also improve your upper pole fullness and cleavage. I first developed this technique over 20 years ago, and today it is the most common revision procedure I perform, at least 5-6 times a week- it works and it lasts!

Answer: Implant rupture? It's hard to tell a rupture just based on photos. A saline implant rupture can show a more dramatic difference in size, but a silicone implant usually has a slow leak that may be imperceptible. Just based on the photo, you have some lateral displacement and asymmetry, but no definitive rupture. I would recommend being examined by a surgeon to confirm.

Answer: Implant rupture? It appears you may have malposition of one of your implants. If you have saline implants it's possible that you may have a rupture, but from your photos it is more likely that the implant is moving laterally in the pocket. An evaluation by a board certified plastic surgeon is needed to determine definitively what is occurring.

Answer: Is there a rupture in my left implant after Breast Augmentation? Hello, And thank you for the question. Based on your photos, there is a degree of asymmetry between the two breasts. Typically, breast ultrasound is a good imaging tool to evaluate the integrity of implants. Sometimes MRi may be needed to evaluate the breasts and breast implants further. I would encourage you to seek a consultation with a Board-Certified plastic surgeon to further discuss your options, specific techniques, concerns and expectations. I hope this helps.Best regards, Dr. Irena KaranetzFellowship-TrainedBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Implant rupture Dear esotericmagic, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.
