32/34A, 5ft 3 & 8.11 stone - could I go 275cc over muscle? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Thank you for your question.
275 cc might push you up to a small C so I suggest try exactly with some sizers to see how you like the silhouette! 300 or a bit bigger might be closer to full C.

The A cup breast did 4 pregnancies (with or without breastfeeding and it is up and perky. The over the muscle implant will make your breast heavy and I never saw a C cup breast stay as nice as that. Putting the implants strictly under the muscle is more painful (true) but they have their integrated bra... which never leaves you, makes the implant as inconspicuous as possible, specially with an A breast to start with and they bear less capsular contracture rates.

I would seriously consider submuscular pure with peri-areolar approach.
Be brave, and you will be happy!

28, 5ft 4 & 10 1/2 pounds - will liposuction remove my pooch? (Photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Thank you for your question!
CS does an adhesion between muscle and skin (because all the layers have been transected at the same time) and this can accentuate the problem.
On the positive side your skin seems to have gone through the pregnancy without too many problems!
and it will probably recover well after a simple lipo or Vaser lipo if available. An other point to consider is if a scar revision of your CS would not be interesting (could be considered like a mini-abdominoplasty.

At any rate best thing you can do is take time to see a couple of practitioners in your area and you will get the correct correction according to your wishes. Bear in mind even if lipo result does not please you, abdominoplasty can always be done at a second stage!

Is it bad to only want to have a lift on one breast even though the other one is also drooped below the fold?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hello and thank you for your question.

You are very much entitled to ask for a one sided procedure... though it might be very difficult to make your left breast look even partly similar to the right one.
I understand they have a size difference, which has to be addressed by a reduction on the left. The technique is designed to produce a shape that is wide based and projected and will probably not give a result that is similar to the right side.
I suppose this is why your surgeon wanted to address both in order to be able to get closer to a similar shape.

But you should consider a few other opinions ... and come forward and tell plainly that you are willing to accept a small asymmetry provided this, this and that!

Hope it helps

Can my tragus be repaired? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hello and thank you for your question.
It is surely possible: a few options should be considered and the potential result compared to the other side (which we hope is intact!
direct excision and closure
V-Y plasty to try and reproduce the original advancing shape
or possibly a wedge graft ( not as good because you have to take it on the ear) or just small bit of cartilage to reconstitute the shape...

Please consult a local plastic surgeon and I am sure you will find the good solution

Natural BWD decreased from 11.75 cm to 11 cm over two years - what can I do?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hey, thank you for your question!
Probably the difference in BWD comes from appreciation or experience, each practitioner will have a slightly different judgement, and this appreciation will also change over time. 0.75 cm is minimal and I would think not to be considered a huge difference.
If I am not mistaken 30 or 32 stands for the measurement in inch UNDER the breast ( the band closing in the back) and D or DD for the cup size (the actual breast size) So there is no way a breast augmentation will increase your bust measurement! It will increase your cup size and as a rule of thumb 200-250 cc implants will push you up one size. So the second opinion is probably closer to your desire than 400 cc.

Best way to go about it is to take a sport bra, a well adjusted top and go ask your surgeon to try with external sizer 200 , 240, 300 and 360 cc. You will have a much better idea and avoid anxiety and disappointment.
Hope it helps

Can I have my nasal hump rasped under local anesthesia? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hey, thank you for your question!
Though it is difficult to judge on your single picture, it is probable that, rasping the hump will leave an open bridge which will need to be closed by lateral osteotomies. Though it is probably the most aggressive part of the rhinoplasty, it can well be done under twilight anesthesia with a good anesthesiologist in a day care setting

Are you allowed to have a breast augmentation without general anesthesia?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Thank you for your question!
Yes it is possible, no it should not be painful and an experienced anaesthesiologist will guide you through the process.
Generally nerve blocks and some sedation do the trick and yes you are right it is less frightening... but with modern anaesthesia techniques risks are probably less than driving to work! And it might stress your surgeon if he is not familiar with this technique.

All in all I would suggest you ask your doctor if he can do that!

I dislike how my chin and nose look. What should I get done to improve them? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Thank you for your question.
It seems your face is a bit heavy and masculine look that you do not like!
There are a few causes to this:
- skin seems to be quite thick ( specially on the nose , but you can not do a lot about it)
- chin is wide and square ( a reduction genioplasty can help with this)
- there is a bit of fat under the chin ( that double chin look can be corrected with a liposuction)
- cheeks are heavy and you almost start to have some jawling despite your young age! ( perhaps a
buccal fat pad removal can help a bit)
- if my calculation is correct 5'4" and 190 gets you a very high BMI, 32 or so, which means you could
well benefit of loosing some weight, and then reassess!
Hope this helps, but it is surely advisable to contact a plastic surgeon and have a consultation!

Saggy breasts and large nipples. Would I benefit from a breast lift only? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hello and thank you for your question! Congratulation on breastfeeding them... and such a good amount of time!
Certainly a breast lift will put some tonicity in the breast and take away the wrinkles! If you are happy with the volume ( when you wear a sport bra for instance...) you will be happy with the lift alone!
If you think it is a bit small, I would not hesitate to go for a fat transfer: there is no side effect and the only minor event could be calcifications due to fat resorption. A surgeon who is used to doing this type of operation rarely has this happening! I personally have my patients do a mammogram before the surgery and 12 months after ( and we consider that all the changes in the mammogram are due to the surgery and not to some malignant transformation! ).

This being said you seem to have very little fat around even for a single fat transfer session to the breast. But I would not exclude the fat transfer form the good options!

Liposuction 360: How many liters of fat can I have removed? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hello and thank you for your question.
You seem to be quite fit and the thickness of the fat pad on the stomach seems to be less than 1 inch ( bear in mind when you pinch you have twice the skin and twice the fat between your fingers)

We do not have a back picture and 360 lipo usually adresses the back rolls as well!

So any where between 3 and 5 liters of aspiration fluid I think is a fair approximation.
The question of the flat stomach has to be assessed together with the position of your hips / bassin / lumbar tilt... etc. all this to tell you that lipo can reduce the thickness of the pinch but not correct the posture: only abdominal muscle tightening can do that: training or abdominoplasty!

As abdominoplasty seems to be far from a reasonable indication this leaves you with the ... gym... even after the lipo!
