How to correct mottled skin after Liposuction? (photo)

There is really no treatment for this.  I have treated many patients with pulsed dye laser, Excel V laser, and IPL with some results.  Recently have been using velashape radiofrequency and IR technology with promising results.  This is a complication I see often in my revision practice that does not have great treatments.  Fat grafting does not help this.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Thank you for your picture. This can be a difficult problem. I don't think the fat grafting is going to have any effect on the skin. The mottled appearance may be due to hyper pigmentation. I agree with Dr. Pozner IPL may be helpful.

Thanks for the RealSelf posting. In my over the internet opinion additional surgery as in fat grafting is a 50/50 option. The amount of fat needed would be in the 1 liter range. Which it appears YOU do not have available. Than I would no hands techniques only use nano fat grafts (more liquidly or spinning to liquify the fat). As for the waist as I call the shark bite area, additional aggressive lipo sculpture is needed. Best to seek ONLY IN PERSON opinions from board PSs in your area...
