Can your abdominal wall heal itself if it was damaged during lipo captivation treatments?

I had lipo captivation on my abdomen about a month ago and since my abdominal muscles have been sore. Mostly upper and obliques. I work out and haven't changed my routine and can't figure out what I've done different except the two captivation treatments. Did I damage muscle wall? If so, can it repair itself in time? Liposuction can cause  some muscle bruising which equates to soreness. With appropriate rest of the muscle the muscle can heal itself therefore reducing or eliminating your pain.

Likely the swelling and bruising caused by the liposuction has settled in your muscle making the muscle sore.  Time and some more rest will improve your symptoms.

Typically and musculature should not be damaged if proper technique was used.  If there is a seroma or hematoma that developed this could be causing longer term pain.  Often if scar tissue develops, radiofrequency treatments or ultrasound can help improve this.  I suggest posting photos and getting a second opinion.  Best, Dr. Emer.
