The safest and most permanent way to build up and refine your nose is with Asian rhinoplasty using tissue from your own body. Using tissue from your own body ensures your nose will age naturally with the rest of your body.
In patient with a lower doral bridge, cartilage grafts are necessary to provide the nose with more projection of the dorsum and tip. The grafts can be obtained from the septum or rib cartilage.
A nose can appear taller when the nasal bridge is augmented using a graft which can be your own cartilage or can be a synthetic implant. It is always better to use your own cartilage.Regards
Most Asian patients in my practice want their noses to be thinner and more defined. I usually give the dorsum of the nose more definition by using cartilage grafts from both ears. This also give more support to the tip. Then I reshape the tip cartilage and use a small graft to give it more shape. Patients recover very well and their ear donor sites look normal. Patients have been very satisfied with their results.
In the Asian population, many noses have a low nasal bridge and a wide, amorphous nasal tip. The solution for this is to use cartilage grafts to add height to the nasal bridge. Additionally, narrowing the nasal tip cartilages and occasionally repositioning them will help to refine this area of the nose. A consultation is essential to thoroughly examine the nose and determine the best treatment for you. Best of luck.
You are describing a nose that will require augmentation with either a graft or an implant. Each technique has its advantages and disadvantages. An implant can give good results but has a significant chance of long term complications. Discuss both of these options with your plastic surgeon.
You are describing a low nasal bridge and/or radix and shortened nose. A dorsal augmentation and usually nasal tip grafting is required but a full in person consultation is needed and pictures would be helpful. This is the most commonly requested procedure in Asia behind Asian blepharoplasty. There are many materials that can be used to augment the nose but the preferred material is your own cartilage. If the ears are large enough bilateral ear cartilages can be used and combined with cartilage from the septum (cartilage inside your nose).
It sounds like you desire dorsal augmentation. This can be done with an alloplastic implants or autologous tissue. Best of luck.
Hello HEALTHYDUCKS101 and thanks for the question. To make your nose taller you'd need an open rhinoplasty with rib cartilage grafts to your nasal bridge and tip. This surgery will make your tip smaller and more refined while building your nasal bridge. Seek a BCPS with experience in ethnic rhinoplasty. See the attached vide. Good luck and be well. Dr. B
Only in person complete examination would allow a response to your desires. seek this from only boarded surgeons.....
I feel very strongly that synthetic materials should be not be placed in your nose during Asian rhinoplasty, so my personal feeling is that regardless of price you should not consider that option. With regards to surgeon fees and the variation amongst surgeons - this will depend on...

The only safe and effective way of permanently reshaping and refining your nose is through surgical Asian rhinoplasty. I strongly advise against trying to use any "home remedy" for this purpose.
