What type of surgery will make my nose taller and less squashed? I'm Asian

Most Asian patients in my practice want their noses to be thinner and more defined.  I usually give the dorsum of the nose more definition by using cartilage grafts from both ears.  This also give more support to the tip. Then I reshape the tip cartilage and use a small graft to give it more shape.  Patients recover very well and their ear donor sites look normal.  Patients have been very satisfied with their results.

In the Asian population, many noses have a low nasal bridge and a wide, amorphous nasal tip. The solution for this is to use cartilage grafts to add height to the nasal bridge. Additionally, narrowing the nasal tip cartilages and occasionally repositioning them will help to refine this area of the nose.
