Hello doctors, I am considering to have a revision rhinoplasty surgery, I have a 1 year old daughter. What are the restrictions If I decide to proceed with the surgery in terms of taking care of my daughter (besides being super careful not to get hit accidentally on the nose). Husband and family can care for her for the first 2 weeks, then it will be all me. Would It be ok to hold her, lift her, etc. She is about 25 pounds or is it advisable to hold off on the surgery till she is older?

There are a number of common findings that we address in revision rhinoplasty. You have lost support for your nostrils as well as a crooked underlying nasal support. This can be corrected by the use of cartilage grafts. The exact placement and choice of grafts is individualized according to each...
This is one of the hardest surgeries but yes it can be done. It might require more than one procedures and a lot of patience. I have done it for a few patients with good results.RegardsDr. J
It can be swelling only in the initial stage of healing If it has been at least 3 months then it could be early and minor inverted V type deformity. RegardsDr J
