How do you see my progress 10 days after Kybella? I am scared that it will leave me with sagging skin (Photo)

Do you think 10 days is enough for the jiggling to be gone? When I touch it it feels like it is full of liquid. Is it because of the inflamation? I thought by now the inflamtion and jiggling eas supposed to be gone. I starting to feel depressed. I hope you can answer my questions. Thank you!

It is to early to tell because kybella causes so much swelling. That is one reason i prefer liposuction. It takes one treatment and the swelling is not as bad as kybella.

It's too soon to tell what your final results will be. Patient will develop swelling and possible bruising after each injection that may last a few weeks. It can take up to 6 weeks for results with Kybella. Kybella take 1-3 treatments every 6 weeks. The benefit of Kybella is each treatment is quick and completed in the office. However, some patients need more than one treatment to get desired results. Hope this helps.

This is a great question! With Kybella, it usually takes about 3-4 weeks for your chin to return to its pre-procedure state. After this time period, in the following 2-3 weeks, the skin will begin to retract and tighten and the lymphatic system will help with swelling from the fat breakdown. It will take a full 6-8 weeks to see final results from Kybella. Also realize, the skin retraction typically happened at 4-8 weeks, but for patients with significant laxity, the fat may be gone but excess skin can remain.

You are ono 10 days removed from the procedure. You still will have swelling . It’s very difficult to evaluate the progress of the treatment while in this stage. Give it a few weeks before deciding if your results are satisfactory. or not. No reason to be depressed. You will do fine

Hello,Kybella injections for chin, has long recovery period and requires more sessions again. so expect few months. In my practice I find almost everyone would have better results with liposuction vs Kybella.On the other hand liposuction, you can see the results in one day. Liposuction also takes care of jawline too.

Hi,
It's quite common to see swelling persisting after Kybella.  It may take another week or two for the swelling to settle down completely.  The swelling results from inflammation.  You won't see stretching or loosening of the skin from the swelling.  All of that will go away with time.  
Also, please keep in mind that the studies that helped get Kybella approved by the FDA involved people getting 4-6 treatments.  You won't see much change after your first treatment.  Continue to get Kybella every four weeks for 4-6 treatments.
