Panic attacks and anesthesia. Is it possible to wake up in the midst of a panic attack? Will I feel "drugged" in a bad way?

I'm really nervous. Which is Human. I am eager and excited about the outcome. I am not questioning my decision as far as my body or finances go. I have suffered from panic attacks my entire life. My REAL fear is Anesthesia. The idea of "losing time" scares me. Falling asleep and waking up a "second" later in recovery is terrifying. How will I feel when I wake up? Will I be scared?
