This procedure refers to an abdominoplasty where the incision is extended laterally to include the hip region.  It prolongs the abdominoplasty procedure only marginally.  Typically the procedure takes between 3 and 4 hours.

Usually a  Tummy Tuck without Lipo takes about 2 or 2 1/2 hours.The length of surgery is a very important fact because  the less time under anesthetics the less  risk of complications derived for the anesthetics.  An experimented and  highly qualify surgeon will not only perform a good technique but will also do it in the less amount of time.
