700 HP silicone gel implant, what bra size will I be after? (photos)

When I meet with my patients in consultation I discuss in detail the size implant and eventual cup size after surgery. We discuss the patient goals and use implants in the office but the best way to determine size is to use implant sizers in the operating room at the time of the procedure. Hope this helps you!

I believe that you will be close to your goal photo with the implants that you have chosen, however you are a small framed girl, and I always tell my patients that on a first time augmentation, it may be hard to get to your goal size without compromising implant placement.  If you have too large of an implant placed, you run the risk of the implant bottoming out, lower than your natural breast tissue.  This is hard to correct and can compromise future surgical results.  From your photos, it appears that your nipple areola complex is ptotic, and you would get an improvement with your results if you considered a peri-areola mastopexy.  Without an in person exam, it is hard to know for sure, but my answer is based on your photos.  Good luck!

Personally, I don't think it's a good idea to go even as large as 700 cc's.  You will definitely be at least a large D cup.  The problem becomes what a large implant dies to stretch out the skin and breast over time.  I suggest around 500 cc's at the most, but you will easily be able to find a surgeon willing to place any size you wish.

Thank you for your pictures.  Based on your pictures I would express extreme caution undergoing a breast augmentation with 700 cc breast implants.  This may result in secondary deformities that would be very challenging to correct.  Based on your first picture  you may need a lift as well to create the nice shape you would like in your "desired" outcome.  Make sure you consult with several board certified plastic surgeons in your area prior to proceeding with your breast augmentation. 

Hello,You can not predict bra cup size. Ever. More importantly,  your choice of implant size is way, way, way too large for your breast, and your nipples will be at the bottom of these very large mounds.  You do not have enough skin between your nipples and the inframammary fold, and to have the surgeon lower the fold will give you a double bubble deformity and a very abnormal breast shape.

It is very difficult to determine the exact size and shape implant you will require to best match your ideal breast image without an examination by a board certified plastic surgeon. Not just any board certified plastic surgeon, but one with many years of frequently performing breast augmentation surgery including different approaches, techniques and implant choices. This is because several measurements not to mention your breast characteristics are needed to determine the optimal implant size to obtain your goals. Without knowing these dimensions it would be difficult to make this determination. For example, the existing base width of your breast will determine, in many cases, the maximal volume per implant profile that you can accommodate. To illustrate; a 100 cc difference may make a significant difference with a narrow base width breast, but much less of a difference if you have a wide chest wall and wide breast “foot print”. Therefore, just because your friend may have a great result with let’s say a 700 cc implant to make her go from a “A” cup to a “D+” cup size does not mean that you will have the same result with the same size implant. . Further simply placing implants in a bra to determine the size best for you is not always accurate as the bra often distorts the size, is dependent on the pressure the bra places plus the implant is outside your breast and not under it among other variables. Computer software morphing programs that automatically determine the best implant size can be helpful in some but not all cases (e.g. doesn’t work well in my experience with existing implants, sagging or asymmetric breasts). Using “want to be” photos however are useful if simply provided to the surgeon as I will further explain in the below link:#BAGoingBig

The two photos you posted of yourself look fairly different so I'm not sure whether you need a lift or not. Based on the first photo you would definitely need a lift and look pretty awful to be blunt with just large implants. Of course if all you are interested in is looking good in a bra then your final result may be acceptable to you. As your first augmentation I would not recommend going that large as you will get stretch marks and likely other complications. I would recommend a lift and a more reasonable implant which you can exchange for a larger implant in 6 months to a year. Best of luckJosh Olson MD

Choosing the right size implant depends on any number of factors most of which require an in person exam. It is also impossible to predict what bra size you will be as cup size varies greatly between bra manufacturers. If you like your surgeon and you feel as if you have been clear expressing your desired results then trust his or her recommendation. Best, Dr. Nazarian

I totally agree with Dr Mowlavi below. As a breast implant revision specialist, I see the same mistakes performed over and over again. In an attempt to achieve a very round full breast, many woman will go larger to achieve that look, but their anatomy doesn't support it. In your case, your areolas are to low and you will predictable end up with a snoopy dog appearing breast. It is very easy for some surgeons to tell a patient just go larger and you won't need a lift or the scars associated with a lift. The problem is that you are already slightly drooping and by placing additional weight of a larger implant, you will droop faster. Please see link below. I wish you the best.

You are going very large and should understand that typical sizing charts may not apply to you. Your body must accommodate the implants and may in fact not stretch enough at the time of surgery for your doctor to put them in. If they can in fact be placed you may develop stretch marks and experience an inward bowing of the chest wall due to the pressure that is created. You would be advised to consider doing this in two steps. The first would be to use as large an implant as possible followed by placement of the larger implant you desire.All the Best,Dr. JA.
