I got a breast aug and lift 1 week ago, I am 130 pound, and 5.4 inches , I wanted to hv natural breast not bigger than what I used to wear 34C . I was welling only to hv a breast lift, but my doctor advice me to add implants, the sagging caused after giving my daughter breast feeding, this was 10 years ago. I went with 220 cc silicone implants. I think they look amazing, but they are too big! is there anyway that after the swelling goes I will back to my natural size 34C? will they get smaller?

Answer: A breast lift plus 220 cc implants: why am I too big? If no breast tissue was removed then you will predictably go up a cup size with 220 cc implants. I often use smaller implants with attention to pocket creation so the implant is properly positioned to give the desired superior pole fullness, and often take out some breast tissue if the patient does not want to be larger. Many patients desire slightly larger breasts to fill out the superior pole. I would advise waiting 6 months before assessing your satisfaction with the final size and shape. You have a moderate size implant, and it is common to feel too large in the initial postoperative period. I am glad you like your shape. That is a huge first step towards being happy.

It is important to be patient in the 'postoperative' period. Talk to your plastic surgeon about your concerns. Implants have to settle and postoperative swelling can persist for 6-12 weeks in general. Good luck!
