Voluma and puffy face. Is this just swelling and will it go down? How long will this take to resolve?

If you are concerned you can reverse the filler however I tell people to wait 2-3 weeks before deciding as the swelling often subsides.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Every patient reacts differently, but, in general, any post op swelling from Voluma should resolve within the first 2 weeks. So, for now, be patient and wait. If you still don't like what you see at 2 weeks post op then schedule an appointment to see your surgeon.Kindly,Kouros Azar

Hello Pinkwillow,Fillers will add volume so they will make the face look a little more swollen where injected (but usually that is the reason for the injection to help add volume).  There is swelling for the first few days that goes away and what you have at 2 weeks is your final result.  If at that time you still don't like your result you can inject a material that would dissolve the product.  Make sure you follow up with your injector to address your concerns.I hope this helps and good luck.
