I had Voluma in cheeks over a 1.5 months which for some reason is still causing swelling in the malar area worse in the morning and better in the evenings. I have had several rounds of hyurolonidase but still have the problem. Has any doctor actually seen this in any patient and can the voluma really all be dissolved or am I wasting my time? Also, I am praying that it doesn't last the full 2 years and that when it does all dissolve that the swelling will resolve as well. Any advice appreciated.

Hi @Rdhead1! You are correct, fillers can be diluted with either saline or lidocaine to thin the consistency. I hyperdilute Voluma in my practice to use for tear trough fillers. Best of luck to you, Dr. Nima!
Voluma is a heavy filler that is ideal for replacing volume loss in the mid-face/cheek. Volbella is a light weight filler that is better for smoothing out surfaces and providing volume in areas such as the lips, and tear trough area.
