Dear netmek,Yes, filler can be used to correct the asymmetry you have, although surgery will give you a permanent and longer lasting result. I would recommend consulting someone with a great deal of understanding of facial anatomy. The reason is that the injection will be off midline, and thus carries higher risk.Good luck,Nirmal R. QUICK ANSWER: Yes, you can use fillers (e.g., Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse) to create the "illusion" of a less crooked nose by filling in depressions/concavities. LONG ANSWER: Generally speaking, nonsurgical rhinoplasty is best suited for mild to moderate defects of the nose (i.e., mild hump reduction, mild asymmetry or crooked nose, etc.). In an asymmetry such as yours, I would almost guarantee that in addition to your nasal bones being deviated, you likely have a deviated septum and a collapsed internal nasal valve as well. With that being said, the best option for you would likely be a surgical rhinoplasty to correct both the functional and cosmetic defects of the nose.Take home point: do your research when deciding what type of doctor to visit for consultation. In my opinion, a surgeon trained in both functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty, who also performs nonsurgical rhinoplasty using filler, would be the best bet for you to receive and unbiased and expert opinion regarding your nose.Hope this helps!Blake Raggio, MD
