While I understand your desire to find a durable filler for your liquid rhinoplasty, keep in mind that different fillers may also produce some very different results. The most important factor to consider is how well the filler you choose works to reshape the nose. If you are working with an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon and injectable expert, your provider will select a filler that is appropriate and long lasting for you.
Microdroplet Silikon1000 may be well suited for permanent nomsurgical Rhinoplasty treatments, depending on your examination. With Silikon-1000, there is no risk of necrosis, blindness, or biofilm. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph
The right filler for you will depend on where and how much correction you need to meet your goals. I often recommend Voluma for nonsurgical rhinoplasty, since the consistency is good for reshaping the nose and the results can last up to two years. However, the experience and expertise of the doctor you choose is much more critical than the specific filler used. Make sure you are working with a board-certified dermatologist who has ample experience in liquid rhinoplasty techniques to ensure the best possible result for you.
Hi Red,Voluma is the longest lasting filler that we have in the USA for non-surgical rhinoplasty. As with all aesthetic procedures, please be sure to choose your treating physician carefully based on their experience, skill, knowledge, training, and most importantly their natural artistic vision. Good luck and be well.Dr. PEncino, CA
I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to go over your desired results. Facial fillers (like Voluma, Restylane, Juvederm) can be used to improve the symmetry of the nose, but surgery would be needed to improve nostrils or overall shape. Best to see an expert. - Dr. Emer
Of the many fillers on the market Restylane is known to maintain form better than other fillers on the market. Juvederm is also recommended but falls short of Restylane's performance. The results will last 12 to 18 months, but repeat treatments can last longer.
QUICK ANSWER: The longest lasting filler would be silicone or Artefill (PMMA/collagen). Permanent fillers are best avoided due to risk of granulomas, uncorrectable irregularities, and irreversible complications (e.g., vascular injury). LONG ANSWER: Various type of filler materials exist on the market. While these differ based on longevity, there also exists several other characteristics which should be weighed when determining the correct filler for nonsurgical rhinoplasty. In general, the ideal filler for nonsurgical rhinoplasty would be one that is reversible, easy to inject, and provides long-lasting support to the nose. Additionally, many surgeons advocate for non-inflammatory fillers that cause minimal native tissue distortion and thus are easily removed during surgical rhinoplasty. For these reasons, approximately 80% of nonsurgical rhinoplasty performed with HA (e.g., Juvederm, Restylane). Nevertheless, some authors still endorse CaHa as the filler of choice due to its longer duration, improved moldability, and increased stiffness. TAKE HOME POINT: You should consult with a surgeon experienced in both surgical and nonsurgical rhinoplasty so that you receive an unbiased and expert opinion.Hope this helps,Blake Raggio, MD
