I got full C silicone breast implants 6-7 months ago and recently when I lay sideways or make some special movement specially on the left side I while laying down I started to feel a spam again or some kind of pain while moving muscle. At first I felt it days after surgery which I was told it was normal and then it stopped for months and it started again and I’m not sure why and it worries to think it can be something else. It happens when I’m laying sideways

Answer: Breast spasms after augmentation The spasm you describe can be considered normal after breast augmentation. They usually slow down by six months, and even by about a year. It may be though, that you always have some kind of different sensations because the weight of the implant may be pulling on that muscle because of its attachment through the capsule.

Answer: Give it a little more time This kind of feeling is not uncommon after surgery, and almost always goes away over time. If you have recently become more active, for example upping your exercise, it may have stimulated some new spasms. Since this hurts when you lie on your side it is likely that the cause is irritation of the nerves to the breast which lie on the outside of the pocket. A few more months and it should fade away. Be aware that pain that is more ache-like and constant means something different - that is more indicative of a capsular contracture.
