I'd like to go for a very, very natural look. I feel like my lips are slightly fuller than average, but I'm not sure. I didn't think I had a crooked smile until I took photos for this post. My laptop webcam flips the image, so once again, not sure. What should I ask for and approximately how much will the procedure cost? Thanks so much!
Answer: Lip filler choices Hello,Based on your photos you have a lovely lip shape and I would agree it's slightly fuller than average. So if you are hoping to have a natural lip augmentation with perhaps a little more definition I would recommend a finer lip filler which will add some volume but not too much. There are so many excellent fillers available now so the best recommendation will come from an in person examination that determines your exact goal and the longevity of the product you are seeking. I do find it helpful when patients bring in photos of lips that they like to give me a better idea of the goal they have for their lip shape and volume. Prices vary greatly depending on the location of the practice, practitioner experience and product so I would suggest picking a board certified plastic surgeon with experience in all available fillers who you feel comfortable with rather than just on price. I hope that helps!Best of Luck!Dr. Rednam

Answer: What to Ask for When Getting Natural Lip Fillers? Volbella Is Best Starting Point A You have lips that most of my patients dream of: a very lovely shape and more-than-average volume. If the asymmetry bothers you (it’s normal, by the way and can be quirky and charming), you can have it corrected with a hyaluronic-acid based dermal filler. I’d recommend Volbella, as it is very thin and is excellent for correcting minor asymmetries and adding just a touch of volume. Consulting with a board-certified dermatologist will help you get a smile that you’ll love in your photos.

Answer: Consider Doing Nothing Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some patients want natural but fuller. Some patients want over the top luscious. The lips in your photos have a decent amount of volume and pout already. In fact, your lips would be what most patients are aiming for. Given that its easier to add more filler than to take it away, I would start slow with 0.5ml or less of a thin filler like Vollure, Silk, or Belotero. This will give you a little more pop but keep things reasonable. Wait a week, and see how you like it. If it's not Kylie enough you can always do more. Check out the link below. Many of our patients travel from around NYC to the Albany / Saratoga Springs area to avoid the high costs in the city. A subtle enhancement in our practice will cost between $450 and $650 depending on the product. A detailed examination will help delineate the best option. Consultation with a surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery would be the next best step.

Answer: Fillers You should start out with 1cc of juvederm filler or restylane filler and go from there. You do not want to overdo too much filler in the lips. It also depends on the look you are going for too. You can always add more filler to the lips if needed. Just remember if you are going to do your lips and you do not want to bruise you should not take any aspirins or anything that will thin the blood since brusing can occur. One syringe is typically $550.

Answer: What should I ask for when I'm getting lip fillers? (Photos) Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. I agree that you have slightly fuller than average lips and depending on your goal results you need not add much volume. I would recommend a thin hyaluronic acid filler like Vollure for a subtle augmentation to fill out the lips instead of adding enough to enlarge them. Hope this helps.
