I went to Dr. Kitagawa to improve the look of my thinning lips, the marionette lines around my mouth, and the loss of volume in my cheeks. I was afraid of two things: 1) pain 2) looking “overdone”. Dr. Kitagawa patiently answered my questions and gave a thorough explanation of the pros/cons of each injection and what to expect. Julie numbed my face 20 minutes before the Juvederm injection, so it hurt much less than I expected. I was able to go back to work that afternoon and nobody noticed the swelling. 2 weeks later I looked natural and refreshed, like a version of myself ten years earlier without the puffed up look you see on reality TV. I’m so happy with my results and my experience with Kitagawa Dermatology!

I got a tattoo done when I was in college of a dolphin around my belly button. Now, five years later, I hate it and never wear crop tops or bikinis anymore because I don't want people to see this cheesy and juvenile tattoo. I finally decided to try to get rid of it, and I did some research on tattoo removal in Oahu and found Dr. Kitagawa. I've only undergone one session so far but I can already see it fading and am very hopeful that it will eventually be gone completely! Dr. Kitagawa is using the PicoWay laser, and it seems to be working well.

I came to Hawaii for a friend's wedding, and of course wanted to look amazing since I was in the bridal party. I had Botox done about a week beforehand by Dr. Kitagawa, and it was perfect! I found him online when I was looking up dermatologists in the area, and went there since he seemed to have good reviews. Botox is one of those treatments where you think it's simple because everyone does it, but really you need to see a great doctor so that you don't get frozen! He did my crow's feet, forehead, and frown lines, and I looked natural and wrinkle-free for the wedding. If I'm ever back in Honolulu, I'll definitely go to him again.
