Neither of my parents or my sister have a dorsal hump. My nose looks just like my dad’s in fact, save for the hump. I was hit in the face by a thrown ball when I was about 5-10. Could that have contributed to the formation of the dorsal hump or is it mostly genetic? Also, I’ve been getting pain in the nose bridge for the past few months but when I went to the ENT he couldn’t explain it. He found that I have a deviated septum impacting the right nostril. Could that be due to the trauma as well?
