I had my primary rhinoplasty six month ago endonasally with no work done to the tip. The tip is hard and projects from the bridge line. my surgeon told me it will go down as my swelling resolves.

Answer: Possible pollybeak deformity after closed rhinoplasty The supratip area does look full in your pictures. A common area for residual fullness after an endonasal approach is in the supratip area as this is the most dependent portion of the nose. However, it is also the most common area for the bridge to be left too high in an endonasal approach. It normally takes up to one year for swelling to resolve from the nose. An accurate assessment cannot be made before that time and I would followup with your surgeon to get their guidance on your recovery.

Answer: Supratip deformity Hi and thanks for your question, final result from a rhinoplasty can be expected after 1 year of surgery, if the deformity remains I recommend a second evaluation to decide on further corrective surgery of the tip.
