I had my rhinoplasty 4 months ago. Did my massages move the cartilage?

I did the massage my doctor showed me every day (started 1 moth ago with the massage) and my nose was perfectly straight..When I massaged the nose I always used to push the tip of my nose up to lift it because I doesn't want to push it down during the massage.... Now I have in the cartilage area close to the nose tip a very small bumb... Is it possible that I moved the cartilage as I always lift my nose tip up? It didn't use a lot of pressure to lift it.

It is difficult to tell if the cartilage has been moved without and exam.  I recommend you contact your surgeon to schedule an exam if you feel something has moved out of position.

In some cases, the nose can be contoured favorably after rhinoplasty with massage or tape. For the first 3 months after surgery the cartilage and bones are still healing and are not stable. During this time period any manipulation of the cartilage or bone creates a risk of creating an undesirable appearance. I recommend that you continue follow up visits with your surgeon to assess your nose and provide further instructions. If there are any concerns with the appearance of your nose at 1 year, I recommend you consult a revision rhinoplasty expert. I wish you the best, Dr. Ardesh

Without and in person evaluation, it is impossible to say if your cartilage is displaced.   See your surgeon for an evaluation.
