Tummy tuck revision - how can these results from 2017 surgery be fixed? (Photos)

I had a tummy tuck back in 2017. I am not pleased with the results. He did a revision to smooth out the stomach but it did not improve. Can this be fixed? What procedited Will fix this problem?

Your results should be able to be improved with a secondary tummy tuck. That typically involves re-opening or excising your existing tummy tuck scar based on its location and/or appearance. Next, the skin and subcutaneous tissue directly beneath it are lifted up all the way to the breast bone. If your muscles are loose, they can be re-tightened. The uneven skin and subcutaneous tissue can then be made more even by carefully trimming under direct vision the uneven areas of the subcutaneous tissue left behind from the first procedure. The skin and subcutaneous layer can then be pulled downward, the excess excised and incision closed carefully with multiple layers of sutures to hopefully leave a good scar.

Contour irregularities can be improved with corrective surgery. The stay involve liposuction and/or skin tightening. Consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon can determine the most suitable course of treatment.

This could be a very difficult problem to fix.  One consideration would be to do more liposuction which may or may not help, and consider fat grafting.  Neither of these would I consider great options.  A second tummy tuck could be considered in the future.  The decision would be based on the physical exam.

You appear to have contour irregularities and not necessarily excessive skin. A repeat tummy tuck can be done to elevate the flap again and will hopefully resettle without the contour deformities. Another alternative would be to use a liposuction cannula without suction to break up the adhesions and allow the skin to re-position itself.
