Not all fat cells will be removed with liposuction, and you will still have all the internal fat cells by your organs where fat accumulates first. Fat cells do not travel. If you gain weight, you may find you are not as full in the areas treated with liposuction.

This is a very common misconception. The areas that you have covered with liposuction hold less fat tissue post op for life. Only if you put on a significant amount of weight you'll see the the untouched areas storing your normal amount of fat tissue, while the ones you've had liposuction before will be much slower. After excision, this fat and skin is gone. The fat that remains can certainly respond to weight gain and loss.
