Had two prior surgeries and the last one was to fix very minor things unfortunately indee up with something very different from what was discussed. I had a small nose before with a small nasal bone, now it really has no shape and it’s been two years. Is it possible to get something of my old shape back?
Answer: Will it be possible to get a bit of my old nose back? Revision Rhinoplasty candidate I recommend getting a consultation to go over your concerns and your desired results. Revision rhinoplasty is a technically challenging procedure and I would suggest that you seek a surgeon that has a good track record for natural results. There a few select of these surgeons in each major city. I would look at their reputations, board certifications, and before and after pictures. I hope this helps.

Answer: Should be possible Hello. It should certainly be possible to restore much of your old nose. I'm certain that the surgeons who worked on your nose up to now wanted a good result, but healing didn't cooperate. I'd plan on repositioning and repairing the the bones to eliminate those contour problems and strengthen your nose. We'd expect your nose to look much more attractive and natural.Best of luck!

Answer: Time travel... just as its impossible to go back in time and revisit old decisions, an 'old nose' cannot be 'restored'.... that said, a thoughtful experienced rhinoplasty revision surgeon would look critically at your issues and come up with a plan to remediate them....in my view, the goal of revision rhinoplasty is generally to restore dorsal lines and produce a tip with proper projection/rotation, symmetry and definition.... in my practice, this nearly always satisfies even the most disappointed patients who come for revision rhinoplasty and wish for their 'old noses' backgood luck..

Answer: Difficult request - problems with your nose Restoring the 'original' nose is quite difficult. I would rather you ask your next surgeon, "can you create a nose that looks nice and natural?" This is more likely to happen. restoration of the original after these type of problems is unlikely.

Answer: Very poor work, my comments for revision Only a very good and skilled surgeon may restore your original nose or eventually build an improved style one based on your original goals.Your case is a compilation of problems and technical errors; among others the following:-Open roof deformity + inverted V deformity: needs osteotomies properly done and spacer grafts-Asymmetrical osteotomies located too high: needs redoing osteotomies and eventually temporalis fascia layer to hide the dorsal and lateral irregularities-Sunken columella: probably due to septal over resection; needs grafting, septal lengthening, struts, etc.-Alar retraction and nasal pinching: the lateral cruras are severely damaged, they'll likely need replacement by handmade new ones, taken from ear cartilage or other source-Bulbous tip: the real underlying situation is uncertain, eventually there is a mass of fibrosis or other issues, to be assessed intraoperatively.Seek the advice and hands of a serious professional who offers to you a time-consuming and expensive procedure; stay far from minimally invassive snake-charming procedures, synthetic implants, fillers, wrapped diced cartilage, etc. Difficulty 9 out of 10 in revision rhinoplasties, surgical time about 6 hours (in expert hands, could be even longer). See the link below to find few cases of my own practice very similar to yours which I had the opportunity to operate successfully on, sharing a lot of common features with the technical problem you have posted. If you wish better grounded opinion well lit, focused and standard images have to be assessed: frontal, both lateral and both oblique views, also from underneath. Feel free to request any additional information from me.
