I'm getting a posterior flanks lipo soon. But I'm not really sure what "posterior flanks" really means. What is the flank area? What I want is lipo in the areas shown in the picture. Is that a posterior flanks lipo?

Answer: Posterior flanks Thanks much for reaching out. In the pictures you have provided you're looking at the posterior flanks and back. The flanks really just means your sides. So your posterior flanks is your side going towards the center of your back but not quite the center of your back. However this term is used loosely so speak with your plastic surgeon and find out if when he calls it post your flanks what exactly he intends to target .

Answer: Flank area Usually this means the waist area going to the back. Each doctor is a bit different. Best to review with yours.
