What can I do to get rid of this pudge after liposuction? (Photos)

Hello!It looks like you need to discuss this with your plastic surgeon. Is there still fat present in this area? Is this something that might get better with massage and compression? These are questions that can only be answered with a physical examination. If you are not satisfied with what your surgeon tells you, you can always get another opinion. It's possible that you may need a touch up to remove some residual fat - which may be able to be done under local anesthesia. Best of luck!

Based on your photos, you weren't a candidate for liposuction alone, but would need a tummy tuck which can be performed at the same time as more body contouring. I recommend a high definition procedure like VASER HI DEF, which will give you the most fat removal, skin tightening and contour. I recommend following up with a high definition physique expert. Thank you for your question.It is difficult to determine what you will need without evaluating you in person. By looking at the photos you may need some further liposuction to give a better contour to the abdomen. If you have any laxity to the skin, a tummy tuck might be necessary.

I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your results. Unfortunately, without examining you in person, it's hard to give any kind of accurate advice. Is the issue excess fat or skin? I would suggest that you wait 2 more months until you are 6 months post op and then speak with your surgeon about either a revision liposuction or a skin tightening treatment. 

You might have been a better candidate  for a tummy tuck if that is loose skin.  Hard to say without an exam.

Did your liposuction extend above the umbilicus?  Were you advised to have a tummy tuck but opted for liposuction instead?  The second photograph demonstrates loss of elasticity and excess abdominal skin.  It is possible that the procedure you underwent was not the best solution to the problem.

Hello and thank you for your excellent question. Based on your photos, I would suggest that you consider a non-invasive technique for skin tightening. This includes laser-assisted liposuction, or RF skin tightening with the Invasix system. Of course, you will need an in-person consultation to evaluate you for this procedure. Preoperative visualization and surgical simulation with the Crisalix system may help with your decision. Any treatment plan should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon.    Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation in person with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!
