Bee Pollen before/after surgery?

All supplements and medications need to be reviewed with your doctor prior to surgery.  He/She is the best one to advise you what you can continue and what should be stopped.

    Always disclose all supplements and medications taken prior to surgery to your surgeon and anesthesiologist.

Hello!I don't think Bee Pollen will affect your surgery. However, you need to run this by your surgeon who will be responsible for your after care.Mommy makeover is a great set of operations and I recommend patients consider iron, vitamin C, D, and Zinc supplements before surgery. Ask you plastic surgeon about these as well. Best wishes on your surgery, Dr. Aldo

Thank you for your question. At my practice we encourage patients to stop taking all supplements, including herbal teas, and nutritional powders about 1 month prior to surgery as a precaution. consutl your docto'r pre-operative instructions and let them know you are taking this supplement.
