Is it better to get Juvederm injections (in nasolabial folds around mouth) BEFORE or AFTER a dental cleaning? I read that infections can happen if juvederm injections and dental cleaning are done close together but I am wondering whether the order (which one takes place first) makes a difference?

Hello and thank you for your question. We would always recommend a face to face consult however in this case these could be fordyce spots which are a normal part of your lip that become more apparent when filler is injected. If you have your lips done again there is a chance they will reappear...
For your nose, one syringe should be adequate for the desired look. We prefer Juvederm Voluma as it mimics the bone structure quite well and has the ability to lift more than thinner products.
It would require an examination. It could be unrelated to the injection and just coincidental. I would feel it to see if firm or soft. Does it move? Are you sure it was Juvederm or could it have been some foreign knock off? Consider more hyaluronidase, steroid or 5FU injections, colchicine or...
