I researched and practiced all the skin care science I could find for about over a year. After about 6 months in to all this research and practice, I started to develop severe hormonal acne. I tried every method from inexpensive to a very high price point and no product was working for me. I was extremely embarrassed by my skin and it was affecting almost all aspects of my life. I was stressed and had the worst normally acne! My self of confidence was shot. I made an appointment with Dr. Behroozan by pure chance. When I met with him, he was kind, concise and pro-active. His treatment proved effective after about 2 months. I could not be more grateful for his help! Thank you, Dr.
CoolSculpting is primarily used to reduce excess body fat in a targeted area, and isn't intended to improve or reduce the appearance of any scarring, unfortunately. Scar improvement, especially very deep ones, often require a combination of multiple treatments over a long period of time in order to see results. While a mini tummy tuck can be an option, certain scar revision techniques are also possible that may be able to help improve the appearance of a scar that deep. It is important to note that improvement may not necessarily be guaranteed, since scarring is a natural process of the body.
Great question! Mixing different brands of neuromodulators, such as Jeuveau and Xeomin in this instance, does not have any risk of dangerous effects due to the mixture. Some patients have tried different brands in different areas of the face to see which one they like more. The two products will not affect one another or their results. I hope this helps!
There is a risk of infection occurring if the timing of dental work and dermal fillers is too close to one another. It is advised to wait 2 weeks in between these two procedures in order to minimize the chances of infection. We do recommend that the dental procedure be performed first if possible.
Thanks for your question. A correctly performed Laser Hair Removal treatment is intended to permanently remove the hair. The laser's light damages the hair follicles, which is what stops the hair from regrowing again. After many many years, some light hair regrowth may be possible on its own - but this is usually very thin and is not close to the level of hair that was originally there prior. A possible hair transplant to the treated area may be able to generate regrowth of hair.
For laser treatments, usually it is advised to wait a few weeks for the skin to fully heal before considering other facial procedures like a chemical peel. Even with lighter lasers, there can still be some redness and very light peeling that lingers around. The new skin does need more time to fully grow and it can take one month or longer for the final results to fully develop after a laser treatment.
