You have a good chance since your testing is normal and BMI is normal. Remember to follow your surgeon's instructions since they are specific to the procedures that you are having--"Mommy makeover" is a catch-all term to encompass any combination of procedures being done to correct post-pregnancy changes.
Stay well hydrated before surgery, avoid blood thinners like aspirin or ibuprofen 1 week in advance. The days prior decolonize your skin with any prep solution your surgeon recommends (I use hibiclens), clear liquid diet 24 hours in advance to avoid constipation that follows anesthesia and narcotic use. Get your prescriptions, dressing supplies and postoperative appointment made in advance to make it easier on your caregivers. Follow all instructions on positioning, ice packs to reduce swelling, limited activities, wearing compression garments, etc. Good luck! Dr. Doolabh

Can you have a circular tummy tuck, back lift, arm lift and BBL at the same time?

Don't do it!
1)Doing a circular tummy tuck, back lift, arm lift and BBL will require hospitalization- I do not advise attempting outpatient surgery in an office or surgery center.
2)If there are multiple surgeons, it might shorten the operative time and anesthesia time, but there will still be considerable blood loss--you may require transfusions so ask about donating in advance. 3)Making too many cuts across the blood supply in all directions sets you up for tissue necrosis/loss, and creating tension tightening in multiple opposing directions sets you up for scar separation.
4)There are conflicting recoveries that should be clarified before you sign up-a BBL requires you to stay off your back side which might be difficult if your front is tightened with a tuck. If you also do your arms, some one else will have to help you with mobility in and out of bed, dressing changes on your back where you can't reach etc.
Be VERY careful with anything that sounds like a sales pitch, and make sure your surgeon will be there for your aftercare & the complications.

Please talk to your plastic surgeon about how to reduce the fulness which appears to be excess subcutaneous fat and how far out after your surgery-sometimes noninvasive fat removal like Coolsculpting is effective. The "dog ear" excision will remove extra skin and fat while extending the scar around to your back-typically not accessible when you are getting a tuck. When the tissues are pinched, it is possible to distinguish between the two options-hard to tell from photos. Either way, you can get improvement without alot of dowtime, so hang in there! Mini tuck candidates don't have bulging above the belly button when the muscles are relaxed (can't tell in the pictures). If you pull your loose skin towards your hairline and the belly button looks ok to you, then a mini tuck is an options. A full tuck will tighten your muscles above and below the belly button, and reshape it to be more open (your have extra skin hooding)--the length of the scar depends upon how much extra skin you have regardless of if you do a mini or full tuck. Depending upon the amount of correction you want, you could do either (since you appear flat above the belly button).

Your photos show more waist curvature and an athletic look with some muscle definition-likely from the liposuction and possibly fat transfer into muscles to make them more defined. If the lumpiness is from the liposuction and not the muscles, it might be fixable with some blending of the edges with fat removal or if there is no excess fat in surrounding tissues, perhaps grafting some fat into any depressed areas. Both of these options can be done with local anesthesia and not a lot of downtime. Taking fat out of the muscle is harder and would require the use of an ultrasound to find where the fat is. Your original surgeon would be the best to address this with. Good luck!

Hi DNL222, maintaining your skin tightness is a challenge for everyone. If you consider that our skin is like our hair & nails and needs consistent, regular stimulation of collagen/elastin/hyaluronic production, you will use some retinol (too much can exacerbate already thin skin), microneedling or texturizing lasers for physical stimulation of new fresher skin growth. Sun exposure can accelerate aging skin appearance by creating laxity/looseness, hyperpigmentation, fine wrinkles, etc. Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen daily with SPF 30 or higher, and wear a wide-brimmed hat when outdoors.
A balanced diet high in antioxidants, vitamins/minerals, protein and less sugar, fats and processed foods with adequate hydration, and avoiding smoking and excessive alcohol all contribute. Wrinkles from facial expression should be minimized with Botox injections-less movement means less tendency towards looseness of skin and soft tissue. Keeping volume in your face with fat or filler helps support soft tissue so that you don't look deflated/saggy as well. Have a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who can offer you a rotation in products and services, some technology driven like RF microneedling & lasers, and some aesthetician level (facials, peels) when you can't have a lot of downtime. Hi lipa24, asymmetrical sagging breasts are very common! While non-surgical solutions likely will be less satisfactory, they are worth considering while you are contemplating surgery. Try wearing a well-fitting, supportive bra with underwire and adjustable straps that lift and evenly distribute breast tissue. Also, inserts can be placed to create a more symmetrical appearance. They come in various sizes and shapes to accommodate different levels of asymmetry.
As for surgery, the breast lift (mastopexy) removes excess skin to improve the overall breast shape, and symmetry. It can be performed with or without implants but given your volume discrepancy, implants or fat transfer to the breast will yield the best look. You likely just need a small scar above the areola to do a nipple lift, but the amount of skin to remove depends upon your measurements. I don't recommend placing an implant without the nipple lift-it might result in a "waterfall" deformity where the breast tissue is lower than the maximum point of implant projection.
Insurance typically doesn't cover breast augmentation or lifts for purely cosmetic reasons. However, if the asymmetry or sagging is causing pain or discomfort, insurance may offer some coverage. It's best to check with your insurance provider to understand your specific coverage details.
Following breast surgery, you'll need to restrict strenuous activity for a period of time to allow for proper healing. It will be approximately 4-6 weeks before you resume your gym routine and gradually increase the intensity of your workouts, depending upon whether you proceed with fat transfer or implants. There will be no long term impact on your pectoralis muscle function regardless of how you proceed.

Hi Vivid705292, your breast measurements are critical to answering this question. If you have a lot of tissue between your nipple and where the breasts meet the tummy (the inframammary fold) then you would get better shaping and lifting with the lollipop scars if your implant is placed under the muscled. The lollipop scars also provide a way to remove some tissue from the larger side for greater symmetry. If your implant is placed above the muscle you may see earlier sagging long term, rippling, and there is a higher incidence of capsule/pocket hardening. Your plastic surgeon doesn't want more scarring either and will be able to help you minimize their appearance postoperatively with topicals, lasers, microneedling, etc. Best wishes, Dr. Doolabh

Renuvion plasma resurfacing or co2 or TRL lasers - which is best suited for me? (photos)
Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)Hi Warmhearted 673515, I have performed Renuvion for lip lines with better success than CO2 laser or IPL, microneedling, etc. The Renuvion technology generates tissue contraction that is superior because it is an fully ablative (i.e. removes top layer of skin). Lasers that fractionate the energy do have shorter recovery (redness, peeling) but with the use of topical exosomes, you can shorten the recovery after Renuvion. Providing some deeper support afterwards with fillers (hyaluronic acid type or fat) may be necessary as Renuvion, lasers, etc. only treat the skin. Hi Intelligent 383353, Renuvion is an advanced contouring technology that will make the results of regular liposuction even better. When placed under the skin, the radiofrequency energy is delivered to connective tissue via a stream of helium gas-the heat that is generated causes the maximum 30% contraction of collagen & elastin fibers-this brings the skin even closer to the underlying layers and avoids sagging that can occur sometimes when you do liposuction alone ( liposuction deflates by removing fat volume but doesn't treat stretched out skin). Wonderful breast reduction & lift experience with Dr. Doolabh
I wanted to share my experience with Dr. Doolabh. For the last many years I wanted to get a breast reduction and lift. I put it off for years and finally made the decision to do it. I decided to use Dr. Doolabh because I have a good friend who had a wonderful experience with her and I was also well aware of her impeccable reputation. I saw her for a consultation in July 2023 and felt totally comfortable moving forward with the procedure. My surgery was done on October 5th, 2023 and I cannot stress what a positive experience it was. The surgical staff was professional and efficient and everything ran on time. While the surgery day was a bit of a blur afterwards, the fog lifted quickly and I was back to myself within a few hours. I had absolutely NO post-surgical pain (I know that is subjective for everyone) but I didn’t need to use any pain medicine! I am still in shock over what an incredibly easy experience this has been. I was a bit worried about anesthesia because that was my only fear. All of my questions and concerns were answered in detail and I had absolutely no reservations moving forward. Extremely pleased with the outcome of my procedure
Dr. Doolabh and her staff are professional, attentive, and thorough. I truly had a wonderful experience as a patient with Contemporary Plastic Surgery. After my initial consult, I was comfortable with Dr. Doolabh being my plastic surgeon but she recommended I consult with other surgeons before deciding.
